The legal field is undergoing significant transformation due to the integration of artificial intelligence. The debate about whether AI will become a threat or open up new horizons for the profession is more relevant than ever. The article analyzes the key trends, risks and prospects associated with the implementation of AI systems in legal practice. Examples of Legal AI are given, the use of which allows transferring some of the functions of legal experts to generative neural systems. The authors believe that the increasing interaction between jurisprudence and innovative AI technologies will create new roles, such as legal engineers in artificial intelligence, AI managers, quality control specialists in generative legal opinions, etc. In the near future, these new roles in the field of law practice will boost the demand for STEM specialists working in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
