Abstract:
Trends in employment and labor market transformation are a traditional subject of scientific research and the object of constant monitoring by international, domestic government and commercial structures. The dynamism and continuity of the transformation processes necessitate the continuation of their study. Modern geopolitical conditions and changing internal circumstances in Russia determine the relevance of addressing the topic of employment in an attempt to clarify its prospects and develop recommendations for practical steps to provide the economy with a workforce. At the same time, the specific state of the domestic labor market, the so-called «personnel shortage», can be considered as a trigger for the transition to a new intensive model of socio-economic development.
