Abstract:
The study aims to assess the status of migration processes in the Far East in the context of modern territorial mobility and transformations in the labor market. The need for such research is justified by a significant reduction in the population of the region in recent decades caused by migration. Based on official statistics, the analysis of territorial mobility and external labor migration in the Amur region was carried out. The authors studied characteristics of migration flows, outflow and redistribution of the population within the Far East area. It was demonstrated how the long-term shift method and pendulum migration helped expand employment outside the places of residence.
