Abstract:

The article discusses the establishment and development of the Arctic Council, which has been the main platform for cooperation between the Arctic states for more than a quarter of a century. The status and structure of the Arctic Council, as well as areas and results of activity are discussed. The author analyses how the special military operation in Ukraine affected the agenda of the Arctic Council and formats of its future work.
