Abstract:

The contradictory impact of digitalization on the institutions that determine the reproduction and use of human capital is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to changes within family and interpersonal relationships, culture and the labor market. The article explores how the quality of human capital affects the spread of new technologies, conversely, how the social environment transforms under the influence of digitalization.
